Yes, but ONLY after text messages are sent to a group of phone numbers do we know for sure if a number is a cell phone that can receive text messages. The system keeps track of what phone numbers are cell phones and what numbers are landlines. After sending text messages you will notice each group you will have two numbers separated by a "/" with total numbers / cell phones. The count on the left will be used going forward for all phone calls and the count on the right will only be used for sending text messages. We manage this for you automatically.
The first numbers for each category, Call and Txt Balance, represent the units available if you want to schedule more calls or texts. This number can and will be lower than the number after the "/" because you might 1000 units but you might have 500 phone calls scheduled to go out sometime in the future.
The message units can be used for ether calls or text and you might have 250 text scheduled and 500 calls and this will clearly show you that you have ether 375 calls left OR 750 text messages that you may schedule.
No need for a calculator, the display would look like this:
Txt Balance: 750 / 1000
Call Balance: 375 / 1000
After all the calls and texts are completed, you will see:
Txt Balance: 750 / 750
Call Balance: 375 / 375
Until you scheduled additional messages, then you will see different amounts for each.
Yes, we are a service provider in the same way as a local telephone company and do not restrict phone calls or text messages for any reason OTHER THAN FRAUD. It is up to the client to determine if they have a relationship with customers and follow State laws for those calls that originate and end in the same state. We do not filter or scrub your call lists and only remove duplicate phone numbers upon upload and when scheduling from multiple groups. We do provide compliance to text message opt-out list and this is transparent to our clients and we have multiple text message providers to insure the highest delivery percentage regardless if a person has opted-out of a short code service and not for a long code.
Recipients may opt-out of phone calls by pressing 9 anytime during the call or by responding to a text with the words: stop, cancel, unsubscribe, quit, end, or any profanities.
There are no additional costs. Messages can be up to two minutes long, transfers to the caller ID are free, and there are no setup fees or contracts. Replies to your text messages are also FREE - in summary, there are no hidden fees or charges outside of the prepaid message units. You may purchase message units that can be used for either one completed phone call to a live answer/voicemail or two text messages up to 154 characters in length. Each 154 characters = 1/2 a message unit.
*Example: 100 phone numbers and 70 people answered live and 20 people's calls went to voice mail would equal a subtraction of your call balance of 90 message units for the 100 phone numbers dialled.
The same 100 message units can be used for 200, 154-character text messages or 100, 308-character text messages. Text messages are deducted from your message unit balance for both completed and incomplete deliveries, so try to make sure that you use cell phone numbers. You may filter your phone list for 1/4 message unit/contact checks when you upload a list in the portal.
Phone calls may be sent out rather quickly, up to ~120,000 phone calls per hour, with text messages delivered at about ~20,000 texts per hour. SCHEDULING START AND STOP TIMES: For phone calls, if you set a start and stop time, the calls will be evenly distributed between the start and stop times to prevent your call center from being overrun with people calling back or 'PRESS 1' transfers. If you do not set the end time the system will assign this end time to 8 pm local time. Therefore, make sure that you always set a start and stop time that will allow your staff to answer calls and questions.
SCHEDULING START TIME: Text messages only have a start time and will be sent out as soon as possible. The report will be sent 60 minutes after the last text has been sent, as the system keeps checking the delivery status up to one hour to ensure the most accurate delivery/failed information.
There are FOUR ways to record a message for your robocalls.
1) Dial the phone number supplied in the portal, enter your key code and start talking. Messages can be up to 2 MINUTES LONG and you can play one message for a live answer and a different message for voice mail. The Robotalker.com system can detect if a live person answers or an answering machine. This allows you to customize your message for the live message to prompt people to press keys to request more information, opt out or be transferred to the caller ID number display (FREE TRANSFERS OF CALLS FOR 20 TALK TIME MINUTES, then disconnect). ou may record as many messages as you like, and they will appear in the user portal. You may then play them back and name them for later use and erase those that will not be used.
2) Upload an audio file in the user portal by selecting the message file in any format and uploading into your list. You can then rename and later use in call jobs or play it for incoming phone calls using the auto-responder. These messages can be created by professional voice talent, or recorded on your cell phone, edited, and then uploaded.
3) Record your message inside the user portal using your PC's microphone. This way of recording a message works with most browsers and is self-explanatory.
4) Email us the message file at info@RoboTalker.com if you need assistance. We can clean and crop the message, then upload the message for you.
Yes, the system will automatically detect any of 32 languages and create a text-to-speech message in the native language.
Yes, you can disable email reports by setting your 'Report email' in the user portal to "noreports@robotalker.com"
Yes, many people use automated phone calls and text messages for appointment reminders and do not need to reuse the contacts after the messages are sent. We can activate automated contact removal after 1-30 days after messages are sent, and retain all the messaging history for up to 6 months.
